Requirements For Parent Volunteers
In order to volunteer at St Clare School, all parents and outside volunteers
who work with children must complete the following items and provide the results
to the school office:
These requirements have been developed for the safety of our students and community.
-
Fingerprints. See our
Fingerprinting Instructions
page for more detailed information. This process will produce a document that you
must return to the School Office.
-
Tuberculosis (TB) Test. See our
TB Test Instructions
page for more detailed information. This process will produce a document that you
must return to the School Office.
-
Volunteers who drive students for school events such as fields trips, sports
events, etc., must provide a copy of your driver license and proof of valid
auto insurance (as supplied by your insurance provider) to the School Office.
The Diocese asks that every driver has $300,000 worth of liability insurance
coverage. California state law requires all drivers/vehicles to carry auto
insurance.
You must provide updated copies of your driver license or proof of insurance
when these documents are renewed.
-
Complete a Volunteer Agreement and return it to the School Office. This
document defines expectations the school has of its volunteers. Volunteers
must complete this document each year.
You cannot volunteer at school or work with children until these requirements have
been satisfied.
Please contact the School Office if you have any questions.
