Fifth Grade Reading List

Take time to go on a daily reading adventure. Not only will you meet exciting new people and go to new places, you will continue to develop a useful and varied vocabulary. You should read at least thirty minutes a day.

You are required to read at least three books this summer. They may be from the list below or an appropriate grade level chapter book. You will be assigned an Oral Book Report using one of the books you read, when you return to school.

The following is a list of books recommended to keep you engaged. If you have any questions, or you want to let me know about any books you read that could be added to this list, please e-mail me.
